Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed the secret to scoring the most international goals in football. After the match, an ecstatic Ronaldo explained that it was his ‘belief’ that inspired his late, dramatic two goals.
Cristiano Ronaldo said: “I’m very happy, not only because I’ve beaten the record but for the special moments that we have, two goals at the end of the game. So tough, but I have to appreciate what the team did. We believed until the end and for the supporters, I’m so glad.”
Ronaldo was also asked about the penalty he failed to convert in the first half.
Cristiano Ronaldo added: “It’s part of the game, part of the business. Sometimes we score, sometimes you make a mistake. It’s part of the business. I still believed right up until the end of the game, so I’m so glad to score and win the game.”
