Everton defender Mason Holgate spoke about the “demanding” culture that was set up by the new manager Carlo Ancelotti. He said that the standards set by Ancelotti was high and the expectations from the players were on and off the pitch. He also felt that the side has improved immeasurably, as demonstrated by their upturn in form since the Italian’s December appointment.
Mason Holgate said “There are different ways to show that you are demanding and I think he shows that in a nice way, If someone is not pulling their weight, somebody tells them, whereas before over the last few years as a squad we have not had that”
