Casemiro insists Manchester United players ought not to focus on the Europa League play-off tie with Barcelona, after the two clubs were drawn together on Monday.
Casemiro said: “I know Barcelona very well and I know they are a big club but that game is still miles away. We’re not thinking about that tie, but rather focusing on the next games. There is lots ahead of us before then, we’ll have to see in a few months how each team is performing but I think it’s always a special occasion when you play against a big opponent. We know it’ll be a very tough encounter but for the moment I don’t think we’re thinking too much about that game.” United have eight Premier League matches before the trip to Barcelona excluding League Cup and FA Cup ties.
