Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is looking forward to the challenge of facing Spurs on Thursday evening, with both sides battling it out for a top four finish in a highly-anticipated north London derby.
Aaron Ramsdale said: “Its massive. Obviously me coming in personally as part of this project with him [Mikel Arteta] as the manager, seeing what he is trying to do with the other players he has signed like myself, knowing he is going to be here for a number of years is great. If we can carry on progressing and continuing our form this season and next season then it’s one where we can see the progress and it’s one we are looking forward to.”
On the upcoming clash with the club’s nearest rivals,
Aaron Ramsdale added: “It’s going to be good fun. If you don’t get excited and nervous for this type of game then you’re in the wrong profession. The history of this fixture over the years is obviously well known not just to the two sets of fans but also up and down the country. As a new Arsenal player and a new fan of the team, I think this is the biggest one for a long time.”
