Carlo Ancelotti labelled Everton’s 2-1 defeat at home to Burnley as a “big disappointment” and said his players’ performance was “not good”.
Carlo Ancelotti said: “The performance was not good. At the beginning we did some mistakes and were punished for the mistakes when we tried to build up. Then we tried to get back in the game. We were lucky, we scored early but in the second-half we didn’t have the quality necessary to find an opportunity to find solutions in front. It is a big disappointment but we can’t give up. We have 10 games left in the Premier League and we want to fight for a position in Europe.”
Ancelotti could not hide his disappointment at full-time but is refusing to give up on Everton’s European ambitions with 10 league games to go.
