Arsenal were advised by former defender William Gallas to consider signing Newcastle striker Alexander Isak to improve their attacking strength. Gallas spoke on the potential benefits of acquiring Isak, emphasizing his fit within the team’s dynamics.
William Gallas said “Arsenal need a striker that suits the team and Alexander Isak would be a good fit. He’s a player that is powerful, he understands the game, he’s good technically, he wants to participate.”
Gallas also highlighted the potential challenges and missed opportunities with the timing of such a transfer, indicating that financial and integration hurdles might exist.
William Gallas said “The problem for Arsenal is that he won’t be cheap and it might take time for him to settle. That’s why they had to do their business in the summer. The chance has gone now. I think not signing a striker in the summer has cost Arsenal, they would be in Liverpool’s position at the top of the table otherwise.”
