Carlo Ancelotti says the physical data supplied by Everton’s number-crunchers shows they match every Premier League except one – Leeds United.
Carlo Ancelotti said: “We are able to manage because physically we have a lot of physical data and the data of our team was always good. There is a top team [in physical data] it is difficult to manage but there is only one top team – but for all the others we were good with all the others. The top team is Leeds and physically they are top and congratulations to Bielsa who is working really well with them.”
The Blues boss is confident of pitching his side up against 19 of the 20 top flight sides when it comes to speed, strength and endurance but concedes that Leeds are difficult to equal in those areas. Everton lost 1-0 to Leeds at Goodison in November but won 2-1 at Elland Road at the start of February. But when discussing the intensity of the Premier League, Ancelotti admits that physically, Leeds are the most difficult team to face in the division
