Season-ticket holders are now able to throw their names into the hat for a chance of seeing Leeds United at Elland Road on the final day of the season. The May 23 fixture against West Bromwich Albion is ticking closer and the club has now confirmed the ballot is open until May 10 for entries. Season-ticket holders will not be automatically entered into the ballot and must choose to opt in for a chance of being one of 10,000 at the match.
A Leeds United statement said: “Leeds United season-ticket holders will be able to register this week to be entered into a ticketing ballot to attend our last home game of the Premier League season against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, May 23, 2021. The club appreciates supporters may not yet feel comfortable or be ready to attend fixtures, or may have personal circumstances which will prevent them from attending Elland Road. Therefore, the club will not automatically include all season-ticket holders in the ballot. Each season-ticket holder will need to register online to be included in the ballot. Please note, personal assistants do not need to register for the ballot. In advance of the government announcement on Step Three changes to the roadmap out of lockdown on May 20, 2020/21, season-ticket holders will be able to register online to be entered into the ballot from now until midnight on Monday, May 10, 2021. Registrations will be online only. Once the deadline date has passed, the ballot will be randomly drawn. The supporters who are successful in the ballot will receive an email to advise them of their priority window in which to book their tickets online, pending confirmation of Step Three changes from the government. If you do not receive an email then you have not been successful. Please ensure your online ticketing account is up to date with your personal details and your email address is correct. As we are only staging one home fixture with fans in attendance, the club will be charging season-ticket holders to attend the West Bromwich game, with 2020/21 season tickets being rolled over in their entirety into the 2021/22 season. Tickets for the West Bromwich Albion match will be charged at an average price across all season ticket pricing structures and will be £27 adults, £22 seniors / disabled / 19–22 years, £17 youths aged 16 to 18, £8 juniors U’16 and £5 for juniors under the age of 11.”
