The Albion star is currently on international duty with Paraguay, where he is scheduled to play in two World Cup qualifiers. During this time, he shared a personal experience through a TikTok video with his colleague Ramon Sosa. Julio Enciso described a challenging moment he faced during the team flight.
Julio Enciso said, “I almost died, I fainted on the plane. I was powerless, I didn’t eat or sleep well. At one point I got up to go to the bathroom and I felt like I was falling. A guy grabbed me and took me to the front. He made me drink coke and a Japanese soup and that did me good.”
Ramon Sosa himself, although not the primary focus this time, is noted for leaving Albion feeling unsettled due to his goal for Nottingham Forest at the Amex. Tomorrow, Enciso is set to face his Albion colleague Pervis Estupinan of Ecuador in the race for World Cup qualification.
Fabian Huerzeler, the head coach, discussed Enciso’s role within the team, indicating that he has been more of a bit-part player for the Seagulls.
Fabian Huerzeler said, “We are working hard with him. We show it to him after every game, after every minute that he is playing, where he can improve. That is our job, to make him better. And it is also the responsibility for the player. How he accepts his role at the moment, how he reacts to his role. Is he disappointed and then shows his disappointment and also trains not good? Or is he like, ‘Alright, now I want to show it to everyone and show it to myself how good I am and show it to the gaffer how good I am, that I am in the gaffer’s head’? In the end this has to be the goal for every player who is not starting at the moment, to be in my head.”
