Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana is continuing his comeback from a horror injury sustained in pre-season. He was taken out with half-an-hour to go and City 3-0 up in the friendly.
Brendan Rodgers said: “Wesley is ahead of schedule. He has devoted everything to his recovery. He is looking very strong, so hopefully not long after the Christmas period he could be back, which would be brilliant news for us. He will probably join the group in the next international break, so probably over the course of this sector of games, he will not be available.”
