Luke Freeman says he is ‘happy to be back’ after linking up with his Blades team-mates once again. The midfielder spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest but the campaign was hit by injury. Currently away with the squad in Spain, Freeman wants to grab the chance of being part of his plans.
Luke Freeman said: “I have missed the lads and missed being here as well. I am really happy to be back. There is certainly a different style of play. The lads are trying to embrace that and we’re looking forward to the season ahead. It was a tough year last year with injuries, it didn’t go well. I am looking forward to getting back in and trying to help the team.”
Freeman’s first chance to impress will be tomorrow as United face Europa Point in Jokanovic’s opening pre-season fixture.
