Chris Wilder has constantly been asked about his future at Sheffield United and in his most recent press conference, the blades manager has reaffirmed that he still has lots of faith in his players but does admit to the fact that the losses this season have hurt him a lot.
Chris Wilder said “I am the same person – there’s a switch in there that all managers have got and a bit of an acting role that we all have to raise the players’ spirits and to be on to them and it takes a lot to be a manager at any level. If it was that easy everyone would be doing it – I get hurt by results. I am not going to be jumping through hoops when we have lost. Anyone knows me and works with me knows we have to dust ourselves down and go again It’s not all been about winning runs and achieving promotions I have had to come through those periods as well and I certainly care and people will feel the same as me.”
