#PremierLeagueStories – #PepGuardiola confirms that #SergioAguero will be out for another two months from his knee injury #MCFC

Sergio Aguero could miss the first two months of Manchester City’s season as he struggles to recover from a knee injury. The Blues striker damaged his meniscus in the 5-0 win over Burnley in June, and was sent to Barcelona for surgery a few days later. There had been hopes that he could be back in time to play some part in the Champions League tournament in August, but he was still in Spain at that point. Aguero, who is 32, posted footage of himself training alone on the outside pitches at the City Football Academy on Thursday. But manager Pep Guardiola ruled him out of Monday’s trip to Wolves for the Premier League opener and later revealed that he may not be back until mid-November.

Pep Guardiola said “We knew that the injury was difficult, He is doing the job, and in maybe one month or two months he will be ready. Yes, because he has to come back on the pitch and regain the physical condition. Sergio was out for a long time and Sergio is not a guy who regains physical condition quick, so I think in one month or two months he will be ready.”
