Wilfried Zaha’s Crystal Palace future
As Zaha prepares to face the team he was rumored to join , Hodgson has garnered praise and shared insights on how Zaha has faced the disappointment of not moving.
Roy Hodgson says he has nothing but good things to say about Wilfried Zaha. Hodgson said “I thought he had overcome his disappointment very quickly and was good at training and in games, so he actually belongs to the past as far as I’m concerned. I’ve always said that when he didn’t leave in the summer it was a good thing for us. We’re happy to have him out there and have him in the games.I find him nice to work with, I enjoy watching him play. But I don’t go home every night thinking about Zaha leaving one day. I go home to think about the session we will do the next day and I think more often about players who are part of the team now and how they feel because they are the ones who need someone to manage them little better. But one day, the day might come when the club will no longer be able to hold Zaha – and this will not be my decision, it will be a decision made by the club owners”
Premier League Museum Editor Notes: PREMIER LEAGUE FANS and Roy Hodgson, who is former England manager know when the price offered is right, Crystal Palace will sell the player as they did with their extremely talented right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka during 2019 summer transfer window. Hodgson is a realistic person who seldom complains and works within constraints to produce best possible results. Although Zaha has not scored a single goal this season, Hodgson has pivoted the question on Zaha’s commitment to the club by saying “I think it is an interesting point, but a little unfair that the team has been accused of being overly dependent on one man and it is only thanks to Wilf Zaha that we are achieving some success. I find it very unflattering and very hard”

Morgan Schneiderlin regrets
Morgan Schneiderlin has admitted he may have left Manchester United too soon when he joined Everton in 2017. Schneiderlin moved to United in a £22 million deal from Southampton in 2015 but left Old Trafford after losing his place under Jose Mourinho.
Schneiderlin says “I wanted to do more and I had the capacity to do more. When I look at other players having a great career at Manchester United, they all had a spell of four or five months when they didn’t play. Maybe I jumped out of the boat too quickly when I didn’t play for three months. Football is about perception. You can play the same game, but it will be analysed differently depending on whether you have won or lost. Schneiderlin feels his criticism on having a conservative style of play is not right. He recalled the times when Manchester United legends Rio Ferdinand had said “Germany’s Schweinsteiger and France’s Schneiderlin are essentially the poster boys for Van Gaal’s boring conservative style as they have combined for one goal and zero assists in 24 appearances between them over a period. They certainly haven’t been exciting or dangerous from an attacking perspective”.
Premier League Museum Editor Notes: Manchester United have been on a roller coaster ride since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement. While success hasn’t been closed , 3 failed attempts have burnt more than billion dollars of money, few managers careers and some player’s as well. Morgan Schneiderlin is one of them along with Zaha, Falcao, Van Persie, Adnan who have been unlucky to arrive at the club in transition where the style of football is going through a reset. PREMIER LEAGUE FANS would like to wish Morgan Schneiderlin best in his career and thank him for entertaining PREMIER LEAGUE FANS.

Defensive discipline key to Watford Premier League survival
Sánchez Flores has identified discipline as an area which, if improved and preserved, could prove beneficial to the survival, success and improvement in Watford ( Hornet’s ) performance this season.
The coach who returned to manage the squad after replacing the manager who had previously replaced him said following “We need to introduce rules on the pitch and introduce rules off the pitch,” he asserted. “I think it is better for the group because we are making it work and we are making a solid group. A solid group is not just on the pitch, a solid group is also in the dressing room, in the hotel, in normal life. f they realise that we are all together, then we defend all together and it’s easier for us because it always give us the possibility to score, so we have the possibility to win.”
Premier League Museum Editor Notes: PREMIER LEAGUE FANS have always felt Watford are a stable club with quality players and great manager picks who have wisdom to keep the club in premier league for seasons. Unfortunately, some impatience shown by the owners towards their manager , ill luck with Marco Silva getting poached by Everton mid season and injury issues in the current season have caused gloom and doom around the club. We hope as the season progresses, the club performance stabilizes and the entertainment provided in last few seasons continues with Hornets for another season.

Wolves aim to tie Willy Boly down
Wolves are keen to agree a new contract with defender Willy Boly, who has less than two years remaining on his current deal. Boly is one of the key players in Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad and his contractual position is thought to have caught the attention of top clubs, both in England and in Europe’s top leagues.
Current season has been with mixed performances for Wolves defender with some Europa League success and some mistakes in the English Premier League. Despite that, Nuno has supported his defender and said “I’m not upset with him. Everybody makes mistakes. What is important is that you know what you did and don’t do it again. What we’ve been doing and the way we’re buying into things, we know it’s going to stand us in good stead. We just need to keep believing and keep working together”.
Premier League Museum Editor Notes: Current season has been challenging for Nuno and Wolves team as they navigate tough Premier League fixtures along with Europa League with thin budgets, tight squad and gruesome schedule. PREMIER LEAGUE FANS have seen this in past seasons with Burnley and how they had near relegation places to cope for early part of the season coping with premier league fixtures and Europa League. We wish Willy Boly stays in English Premier League and continues to entertain us with solid tackles and physicality that the league is famous for.

Pochettino worried about Amazon’s influence
The Argentine was asked whether he and the players had concerns about the cameras being allowed access to what are normally private areas of the training ground and stadium. “Of course, when the club agreed the deal with Amazon, of course we were worried about it, because it is not easy, it is not easy. It is tough to have the camera in your office. Then how you handle the situation to have the capacity to say, ‘okay, I am not in a good mood’, but sometimes the camera is going to be there. It is so complicated, it is another thing to worry about and of course that adds a lot. If we were busy now we are super busy. To plan everyday, everything is not an easy job. That is why, when I told you I feel that I am not any more a manager, I am a coach, now I am like a producer. Being coach, manager and producer!
Premier League Museum Editor Notes: PREMIER LEAGUE FANS please take note and read into the words here. Here is a decent manager who is loyal to his club and owners. He is not crying but showing his helplessness as he had during transfer windows for getting new players , getting rid of some players , not selling his coaching time for some documentary for money and owners to have some goals and way to fulfill them . Unfortunately, none of that has come true and it seems the last season of Pochettino may leave both the club fans and PREMIER LEAGUE FANS in tears on how the talented manager is being treated . Walk to few miles north of UK and you would see a fellow champions league finalist who has made the club dance to his tunes, selling players Caries , buying players, Keita , Shaquiri and ensuring no media enters his dressing room even threatening to leave the club if this happens. It has been remarkable to see how clearly the difference exists.
