Dejan Kulusevski has confessed that he felt nervous when he initially traded Juventus for Tottenham, the Sweden winger arrived in north London on transfer deadline day. But now insists that he is happy and content at Spurs.
Dejan Kulusevski said: “It’s fantastic, I’m so happy that the move was made. It’s something I wanted for myself, I was a little nervous when I got there. A new club, a new league and also because the Premier League is a very difficult league. But it has gone very well. I’m happy to have played and scored some goals and assists.”
Kulusevski also revealed that it had been a dream from a young age to play in the Premier League, and that he couldn’t wish to do so at a better club than Spurs. The Swedish star also revealed there had been interest in the past from English clubs but nothing ever materialised.
Dejan Kulusevski added: “The Premier League is the league I have wanted to play in since I was little. And every year there has been a small opportunity for me to go there but it has never felt 100 per cent. Now I wanted to go there, I wanted a new challenge, a new environment, and I got it there. I could not have wished for a better club.”
