Harvey Barnes claims there are “exciting times ahead” at Leicester City with the abundance of young talent thriving at the King Power Stadium.
He was asked by the host: “You have a great nucleus of young players with yourself, Wilfried Ndidi, Wesley Fofana, James Maddison, there’s a lot there. We normally see when you guys are doing well a lot of speculation. We’ve previously seen you potentially going to Liverpool, but how important is it for Leicester to keep this squad together so you can achieve great things?”
Harvey Barnes replied: “Yeah, it’s important, I think we’ve seen that in the past few years. The young players that have come together, we have a great mix here with young good players and a lot of senior players in the squad who have been here and won the great things that the club have. But as you say, the young players we have at the minute, it’s such exciting times and you hope that the whole group can stay here for as long as they can and keep progressing. But, you know, things happen in football. Someone may end up leaving and then you need to get someone else in. For us, we have to enjoy it and keep progressing and playing exciting football.”
