Upon arriving back at Porto, Fabio Vieira reflected on his challenging time in England and his decision to return to Porto for further growth and development.
Fabio Vieira said “I went through a difficult time in England and in this moment I felt that Porto was a good opportunity for me to continue growing and developing. I felt that this was the right place to do it this season.”
During his discussion about adapting to different football styles and responsibilities in the Premier League, Fabio Vieira expressed his thoughts on the differences between English and Portuguese football.
Fabio Vieira said “I have more responsibilities [in the Premier League]. Obviously, they [English teams] play in a different style than we play here, but both there and here there are teams that always have control of the ball. Most of the time, they are in possession of the ball, in offensive processes, but we also have the defensive process and both are very important in football.”
