Dele Alli, the 28-year-old footballer, had been a free agent since his contract with Everton expired last summer. Despite this, he continued to train with the Blues until he announced his departure in December. Currently, Dele is training with Como in Marbella, Spain. This training period comes after Como was given additional time off due to the suspension of their weekend clash with AC Milan, who were involved in the Supercoppa Italia final in Saudi Arabia on Monday night.
In a social media post, Dele Alli was seen in high spirits, posing with Patrick Cutrone, Fellipe Jack, Motz Braunoder, Emil Audero, and Moreno.
Dele Alli said “As widely published, 2025 may set me on a new path with some exciting opportunities. Before any of that happens, it’s very important for me to make clear how grateful I am of all the fans, staff and players at Everton for the support they have given me. It has been an incredibly tough journey trying to put the pieces together to regain match fitness and I cannot thank the Everton staff enough for the hard work they have put into the process.”
Dele Alli continued, “Unfortunately things haven’t worked out as we all would have hoped and I think it is the right time for me to turn a new page. I want to wish everyone at this amazing club the very best of luck and hopefully we will see each other again soon.”
Dele moved to Goodison Park from Spurs in January 2022 and left Everton last month.
