Villa central defender Shaun Teale was set to come face to face with English football’s latest goal-scoring phenomenon, Paul Warhurst and he said that he would not change his game. Teale, who had tamed a succession of top strikers that season wanted to stop Sheffield Wednesday’s Paul Warhurst. Warhurst had been on target 17 times that season in just 21 matches and Teale knew that he as the main threat for his team.
Shaun Teale said “I can’t go into the match worrying about that. My game is based on being competitive, and if take that away, I won’t be much use to the team. It’s going to be tough against Wednesday because Warhurst is playing out of his skin. He has real pace and an eye for the goal. We can’t allow him space to run into, which might mean we have to defend more deeply than usual.”
