In what was one of the most difficult season for the Merseyside club Howard Kendall admitted that the support that they had received from the fans was amazing and thanked the true & loyal supporters of the club for sticking with the team.
Howard Kendall said “These are the true blues who back the club through the good and the bad, pleasure and the pain. This is what true support really means. This has been a weird season to be honest. There is a strange new insecurity of position where two or three wins can put you up near the top, yet a similar number of losses plunge you near the danger zone.”
