Beleaguered Nottingham Forest boss Brian Clough admitted in an interview that the pressure of the job and the poor results had led him to think about retirement many times but he always takes his mind off it to continue fighting for Nottingham.
Brian Clough said “I have considered it many times (retirement) but when I get up the next morning I think about it and say “balls I’m not doing it. I ain’t going anywhere, I have a contract for 18 months more and I will see it out and that will be enough. We think we will improve (about relegation). Keep our fingers crossed for and we are good. I am interested in signing a couple of players. I am interested in providing entertainment for the people of Nottingham.”
