Daniel Levy has said that former Juventus director of football Fabio Paratici will be “a great addition” for Tottenham. Spurs fans have been left disappointed in recent months given speculation surrounding Harry Kane and their ongoing search for a new manager. However, the club have finally confirmed the appointment of Fabio Paratici as managing director of football today and Daniel Levy has detailed what can be expected from the former Juve man.
Daniel Levy said: “I’ve known Fabio for a number of years obviously from Juventus we had a number of discussions over the years and he was a very tough negotiator. He is very knowledgeable and I have got a lot of admiration for him and I think he will be a great addition to our management team. Everything to do with the footballing side of the club he will have responsibility for. Obviously, recruitment is one element. He will be working closely with Steve Hitchen, all the analysts and all the scouting department. Juventus have been a highly successful club and he has been a major part of that and hopefully some of that will rub off on Tottenham.”
