Seamus Coleman has admitted the fans make a huge difference to Everton’s performances after they secured a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday evening. In their final Goodison Park fixture of the 2020/21 campaign, a header in the first half from Richarlison was enough for the Blues to secure all three points after a battling display.
Seamus Coleman said: “The fans make a difference to our performances. They have every right to be frustrated especially with our home form. Today it was not just for us. It was a release for the fans to be here. We had to put in a performance, running around and showing we care. It was a battling performance. We had a few chances to win the game by more. It gives us a bit of a game going into the last game. It is frustrating our home form but we will give it a go against the champions.”
Everton travel to Manchester City for the final match of their campaign on Sunday.
