John Fashanu had one message for the vultures gathering around Liverpool, “Lay off Graeme Souness”.
Fashanu who played with a cast on his broke wrist, and his Wimbledon teammate Steve Cotterill were responsible for piling the latest helping of misery on to Souness.
John Fashanu said “Anybody can say Liverpool are not the team of the old but things can change anytime. People should get behind Graeme’s back and give him a break. They have got some of the best players in the world. They will get it right.”
