QPR suffered a massive blow in their quest to finish in the European spots as their skipper Ray Wilkins pulled out of their upcoming premier league match against Middlesborough with a cracked fibula. Wilkins, 36, had been one of the most vital cogs in a Rangers side that was in may people’s eyes were punching above their weight that season.
The veteran player suffered the injury during training and faced at least a few weeks out as a result of the injury.
