Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has tipped both Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to compete for the Premier League Golden Boot this season. The Spurs frontmen have been in fine form so far this season, Kane scoring five and assisting eight in the Premier League, while Son has scored eight and assisted two so far this term. And remarkably, no fewer than seven of Kane’s assists have been to Son, the two showing off their seamless relationship in the Tottenham front line. The duo’s performances are receiving plenty of praise already this season and former Spurs boss Redknapp has joined in, tipping both players to be at the top of the Premier League’s scoring charts this season.
Harry Redknapp said “When you talk about that front three, Liverpool’s front three is incredible, but certainly, them two are just such fantastic players, They are such fantastic players, so unselfish, they work for the team and Harry Kane, what a professional. A complete all-round footballer and Sonny has just got better and better. As a pair, you can see them both being up there with the leading goalscorers, they will both be very close. When you have watched and know the boy, he trains and works at his game like you wouldn’t believe. He will be out there 30 minutes after everyone else has gone in, doing his shooting or whatever he wants to work on. It’s non-stop work, it’s an amazing attitude.”
