Manchester City’s new acquisition and German international. Uwe Rosler was fined a sum of £3,000 by the club after he was suspended against the Gunners. In his debut game at Highbury, Uwe Rosler was handed a red-carded by the referee in a game where Arsenal thrashed Manchester City.

Manchester City handed the player a fine of his two weeks’ wages to tackle the interdisciplinary attitude of the player. The game also saw the return of Niall Quinn who was out for a long time due to injury. The player came as a substitute a few moments before Uwe Rosler was given the marching orders.
