Jason Dozzell denied his former club victory with a dramatic last gasp equalizer for ten men Spurs at Portman Road. Dozzell, who had left Ipswich for White hart Lane in a £1.9 million summer deal, returned to haunt his former colleagues.
Ipswich appeared to have wrapped up the points by fighting back to lead 2-1 after Spurs defender Colin Calderwood had been sent off. Tottenham bossed the first half with Vinny Samways and Steve Sedgley prominent in the midfield. Dareen Anderton broke the deadlock after 28 minutes. Ipswich levelled via Simon Miton before taking the lead and it looked all over for the visitors until Dozzell had the last word.
