Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes that Jesse Lingard’s days at Old Trafford are numbered and despite the midfielder scoring in the Europa league match against LASK, Scholes feels that Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer has basically put the player in the shop window and future away from the club beckons for the Englishman.
Paul Scholes said “Lately, he hasn’t been good enough. LASK was a game where you’d think Jesse had a chance of playing 90 minutes. When Ole took him off after an hour, I though that was a sign Ole is thinking of moving him on. I could be totally wrong. But that is the feeling I get. When you’ve got fringe players and they need games, they need 90 minutes. To bring him off after he scored, it was a little sign – and Fred – that he may offload them.”
