Pep Guardiola admits his Manchester City side “could not control” Bournemouth for long passages of their narrow win on Wednesday evening. City eventually won 2-1 against a struggling Eddie Howe team and Guardiola admitted that they were struggling to control the game.
Pep Guardiola said “It was a really difficult game, they played really well. We could not control them, We started well in the first 10 to 15 minutes of the second half, but then we had a problem in our build-up. We struggled and their high pressing was so good so it was a difficult game. Their need is so high to stay in the Premier League. The same is going to happen against Watford. It will be so tough so this is normal.”
