Ralph Hasenhuttl has made clear that wantaway midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will only be allowed to leave Southampton if a good offer comes in for the midfielder. Hasenhuttl addressed the media following his side’s draw with Brighton but gave another press conference on Friday morning to discuss his side’s upcoming clash against Bournemouth. Hojbjerg was high on the agenda again, and the Southampton manager has explained what it would take for any side to pry the midfielder away from St Mary’s.
Ralph Hasenhuttl said “I am not surprised that this comes. We have a player who is under contract here, we would like him to stay. If someone else wants him, they have to make a good offer. We have to find a win-win situation, but at the moment he is with us and he is our player. He wants to give everything as long as he is with us. His future, we know there is some interest and if a club wants him, they must show they want him.”
