Former Red Devils midfielder Roy Keane believes that Chelsea has enough to hold off the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham and secure fourth place. United and Spurs drew 1-1 at the new White Hart Lane which has given Chelsea further breathing space going into their first game since the restart.
Roy Keane said “I think Tottenham are going to be short. I think Mourinho will be delighted with the performance of his team tonight. A couple of bad injuries and stopping a bad run they had before the break-in football. I think he’ll be delighted. Deep down, he’ll know, I don’t think they’ll do it. If you’re in the United dressing room, I’d be disappointed. They’re running out of games, and with Leicester and Chelsea, they’re running out of opportunities to close that gap. I think it’s a great opportunity now for Chelsea to make it an even worse result for United, by winning.”
