• Howard Kendall Was Looking to Get back to Winning Ways after three back to back Losses
Howard Kendall was glad that he had heard nothing untoward from his four Internationals and was hoping that he would be able to field a full-strength squad with Paul Holmes and Ian Snodin both back fit. After a bright start to the season, Everton had suffered multiple defeats and all the momentum they had early on had been snapped away, but Kendall was hopeful that his team will be able to take the chances that come their way and turn their form around.
Howard Kendall said “I’m looking for us to start winning again, and to start scoring too. It has been disappointing to lose out last three games after such a good start, but at least we have created plenty of chances in two of them. The only match I feel we deserved to lose at Highbury, and we were without Watson then. Hopefully we will start taking our chances, and if we do, the results will obviously improve.”
