#PLStories- AFC Bournemouth’s Ben Greenwood speaks about Dominic Sadi #AFCB

DEVELOPMENT Squad skipper Ben Greenwood revealed his first impressions of summer signing Dominic Sadi – commenting that Cherries have “got a player on our hands here.” Left-back Greenwood will lead young Cherries out again when the development squad restart their Premier League cup campaign away at QPR on Monday, November 21 (kick-off 7pm). The 19-year-old defender scored in their last foray in the competition, a 2-1 win over Derby County that puts Cherries top of their group with two wins from two games. Sadi and Greenwood made their first-team debuts in the League Cup victory over Norwich City in August, skipper Greenwood coming off for winger Sadi as Cherries chased an equaliser. It was a gambit by former head coach Scott Parker that paid off, Sadi teeing up fellow substitute Brooklyn Genesini to grab an equaliser to send the tie to penalties, Cherries winning the shootout to advance past the Canaries. Sadi’s stock has continued to rise, with the 19-year-old again substituted on in the dying embers of Cherries’ 4-1 rout of Everton in the third round of the competition. Asked for his thoughts on Sadi, Greenwood enthused to the Daily Echo: “What a player! “Honestly, some of the spaces he gets in, you think ‘how is he going to get out of there?’ “And he comes out with the ball. It's crazy, honestly. Ever since he's joined, I’ve thought ‘we've got a player on our hands here.’ “He makes my job easy. “Go forward, give him the ball and he'll give it back to me sometimes. “He is phenomenal.” Cherries will be looking to make it three wins from three in the Premier League cup on Monday when they visit QPR. During the week they were defeated 3-0 by an Eastleigh side containing a mixture of first-teamers and development squad players, with Greenwood looking for his side to make amends quickly. He told afcb.co.uk: “For me personally, and everyone in there, we can’t wait for Monday now, we’ve got even more reason to prove a point.“Obviously, with the momentum we’ve got in that competition at the moment, it’s a massive game for us.”
