DEVELOPMENT Squad skipper Ben Greenwood revealed his first impressions of summer signing Dominic Sadi – commenting that Cherries have “got a player on our hands here.” Asked for his thoughts on Sadi,
Ben Greenwood said: “What a player! Honestly, some of the spaces he gets in, you think ‘how is he going to get out of there?’ And he comes out with the ball. It’s crazy, honestly. Ever since he’s joined, I’ve thought ‘we’ve got a player on our hands here.’ He makes my job easy. Go forward, give him the ball and he’ll give it back to me sometimes. He is phenomenal.”
Cherries will be looking to make it three wins from three in the Premier League cup on Monday when they visit QPR. During the week they were defeated 3-0 by an Eastleigh side containing a mixture of first-teamers and development squad players, with Greenwood looking for his side to make amends quickly.
Ben Greenwood said: “For me personally, and everyone in there, we can’t wait for Monday now, we’ve got even more reason to prove a point. Obviously, with the momentum we’ve got in that competition at the moment, it’s a massive game for us.”
