India cricket superstar Virat Kohli has revealed that he’s a Manchester City fan via a brilliant video message he sent to manager Pep Guardiola.
Virat Kohli said: “Hi Pep. I hope you are well. Last season was smashing and you are still going strong. Loving the games and energy. Cheers. This one’s for you. The game was really good. You did an amazing job. This time also take the title home.”
Kohli has captained the Indian team in Tests since 2014 and was handed the limited-overs role in 2017. It appears as though cricket is not his only sporting interest, though, as the Delhi-born batter posted a social media message to City – and Guardiola – after their routine victory over Newcastle on Sunday afternoon.
