Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says his door is open for any players who might want to leave the club. Leicester City have been linked with one Anfield star who may decide the time is right to depart Merseyside, Naby Keita. Keita has struggled for form since he left RB Leipzig for Liverpool in 2018 for around £52 million. City midfielder Youri Tielemans continues to be mentioned as a potential target for the Reds, but the price Brendan Rodgers’ side would demand for the player is prohibitive.
Meanwhile, Klopp has said he will listen to any players who want to leave the club.
Jurgen Klopp said: “If somebody wants to leave, he can come to me and tell me and then I think about it. Nobody came so far, so obviously no rush from the players’ side. The market anyway is a really calm one at the moment, I think. Let’s see what happens and all of these things, but at the moment, everybody has the chance to impress me and I hope they do.”
