Victor Lindelof has praised Anthony Elanga following his breakthrough end to the season and backed the youngster for a bright future at Manchester United. Elanga, 19, enjoyed a memorable end to the season as he signed a new long-term contract at Old Trafford before scoring his first senior goal during the win at Wolves on the final day of the season.
Victor Lindelof said: “It is very fun for him, he is a kind and good guy who works hard and wants to learn. He has many fine qualities as a player and he is still young.”
When asked about Elanga’s future at club level compatriot Lindelof backed him for a bright future as long as he keeps his head on the ground.
Victor Lindelof added: “It’s fun that he got to show himself and that he scored in the last match. If he does the work required, he will have a great future.”
