Chelsea are enjoying life under Thomas Tuchel, now 12 unbeaten across all competitions. The German head coach has made quite the start at Stamford Bridge, taking Chelsea back into the top four and within three points of third-placed Leicester City after beating Everton on Monday.
Fikayo Tomori said: “Obviously I’ve spoken to people at Chelsea. They’re not only team-mates, they’re also friends so we all check up on each other to see how we’re all doing. A lot of the time we’re not talking about football but about general life. The mood in the camp there from what I understand is good. A lot of them are playing games, scoring goals and playing well so I’m sure it’s all going well.”
Chelsea are in a strong position to qualify for the Champions League, an achievement which could take Tuchel a long way towards a contract extension having only penned an 18-month deal upon his arrival.
