Leicester City have been billed as “contenders for everything” by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, ahead of Sunday’s Anfield showdown. The Foxes lead the way in the Premier League, heading into this weekend’s clash with the reigning champions. And with Klopp having to deal with a number of players ruled out through injury, he says City have previously set an example to be followed.
Jurgen Klopp said “They showed it last year how good they can be. Changed styles slightly. Dealt really well with injuries. Good example (of) how to deal with an injury crisis. A clear way of how they want to play. They are contenders for everything. His speed! It’s incredible how he uses that. He is a massive threat. He gambles in a good way with the last line. His technical level is really good as well. Jamie is a proper, proper player. It’s always a challenge to defend him.”
