Tottenham failed to get off to a winning start in the 2020/21 Premier League season, suffering a 1-0 defeat to Everton on Sunday. The fixtures are coming thick and fast, though, with Spurs having just a couple of days to prepare for their Europa League meeting with Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Lucas Moura played the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 defeat against Everton, and has spoken about his team’s disappointment with the result and aims for the coming weeks.
Lucas Moura said “The players are upset because we know how important this game was, The first game of the season and it’s so important to start well, to start with three points. That’s the game. We need to look forward now and try to do better. We know we have the quality to do better, and I’m sure we will. We don’t have time to cry. We have another important game in three days, and we need to be ready.”
