Nuno Espirito Santo

Eintracht Frankfurt will not ‘block’ Omar Marmoush’s potential transfer to Nottingham Forest according to reports. Yesterday, Nuno made his intentions clear after Forest ’s penalty shootout defeat to Newcastle United,

Nuno Espirito Santo said “Until the end of the window we are going to be alert. If it is possible, yes, I think we still need a couple of options. “We’ve been linked to so many players – it is crazy. Many of them are not true. But we need options, I think. We still have two days to go and we are working. Hopefully we can bring (signings in). We had a lot of players making their debuts tonight. It was positive. “We have always said that when we bring players in it is because we believe they can help. They proved today that they have been working very hard since day one.”

Summer signing from Vitoria Jota Silva netted his first goal for Forest last night with an emphatic strike to level proceedings after Newcastle took an early lead – he was among several new recruits who made their first appearance at the City Ground with Ramon Sosa and Carlos Miguel starting the match – Nikola Milenkovic also featured off the bench.
