Everton captain Seamus Coleman has been speaking about how the doomed reign of Marco Silva felt in the end and the life under the new manager Carlo Ancelotti has been so far. He also spoke about his role in organising a wage deferral at the club. The club looked to be heading nowhere before the Italian arrived and with a string of good results on both sides of the project restart, Everton now has outside of chances of making it to the Europa League next season.

Seamus Coleman said “Carlo Ancelotti has not put pen to paper on a contract at this club to be with a mid-table team. He wants to be successful, I really hope and believe that can be the case. It’s up to the players to keep driving it on. I said a couple of weeks ago, if we are not good enough then I’m sure this manager will see it and bring his own players in. It’s up to us to give it all to make sure we are part of the plans for the future.”
