• Graeme Souness thankful for the support from the club and feels everyone is finally on the same page
Graeme Souness spoke about the Anfield united which he hoped would lead Liverpool to honours. The Reds boss told shareholders that support from inside and outside of the club could play a major part in the quest for trophies.
Graeme Souness said “I don’t think anybody enjoys criticism. Maybe we received more than our fair share last season. But you have to accept that. I feel for the very first time since I returned that everyone at the club is pulling in the same direction, which makes a very hard job that bit easier. I think that with the kind of people I work with and the kind of support I have enjoyed, we have a really good chance of being successful. The upside to all our problems was that we introduced several young players who they stood up and were counted at a very difficult time.”
