David Brooks insists that Bournemouth are looking at which teams they can catch ahead of the return of Premier League football and the visit of Crystal Palace next weekend. And Brooks is feeling confident that Bournemouth can get themselves out of trouble, with the Cherries aiming for three points against Roy Hodgson’s men to boost their chances of survival.
David Brooks said “There’s no doubt that, given the quality, we shouldn’t be near the drop zone, never mind in it. Going back in we’re not looking behind us. We’re looking forward at who we can catch. I don’t want to sound cocky but I like the pressure. I like being the main man, When I go on to the pitch, I don’t feel nerves. Between now and the end of the season I just want to play. I’ve been out for over a year. I just want to get back playing. I can’t wait for next Saturday.”
