Frank Lampard has confirmed his recent conversations with Farhad Moshiri have been purely football-related following Everton’s recent decision over their sponsorships. Last week, the club confirmed that they had suspended their current commercial agreements with USM, Megafon and Yota over Alisher Usmanov’s links to Vladimir Putin.
Frank Lampard said: “In simple terms we know (the situation). We saw the statement. I had conversations with Mr Moshiri which are all football related. Nothing on the financial side. If I am honest I do not want to know because I have Wolves, Newcastle and then Palace and that is where my priorities lie. That is exactly where I am at. Of course there are conversations to be had as we get towards the summer, but I am one month into this job. As much as Monday is tough to take, it also opens your eyes that those nights may come. It is not a conversation for now.”
