Following a disappointing end in their pursuit of a potential FA Cup, losing to Middlesbrough after extra-time in the fifth round, Tottenham were back to winning ways in the Premier League, dismantling Everton 5-0 on Monday night. The victory means that Antonio Conte’s men are seventh in the table on 45 points at the time of writing, but are currently three points behind Arsenal, who are positioned in fourth place but have a game in hand on Tottenham. Whilst Conte has been receiving plenty of criticism of late for certain decisions made, Kane has showered the former Inter Milan coach with immense praise, stating that he is a ‘fantastic coach’.

Harry Kane said: “The manager is a fantastic coach, I really enjoy working with him. Antonio has definitely given me more strings to my bow. I’m always someone who (wants) to improve. When I’m 35, 36 I’ll still be trying to improve. That’s just my mindset. I feel like physically I’m in a really good place. Mentally, my game understanding and my awareness on the pitch is at a really high level.”

Spurs travel to Manchester United this Saturday in the hope of making it three Premier League wins in succession but Kane has reiterated that it will be a ‘tough game’ despite the Red Devils suffering a 4-1 defeat in the Manchester Derby.
