Liverpool’s under-pressure manager Graeme Souness admitted that everyone had written them off and gave no chance against their upcoming clash against Arsenal. Elimination from three cup competitions and a place below mid-table had left the nation mourning or rejoicing the apparent death of the great club.
Graeme Souness said “We couldn’t have a stiffer test than this one on Sunday. Everybody has written us off, so what better way is there of showing out critics, the public and the country that we are still very much alive and playing the kind of football that the club is famous for.”
