Jurgen Klopp has provided Liverpool with a double injury boost ahead of his side’s meeting with Tottenham on Sunday afternoon. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed on Wednesday that all of his players have been vaccinated and there are currently no positive Covid cases going into their double-header against Newcastle United and Spurs. Klopp also confirmed that Roberto Firmino and Curtis Jones have both returned to training this week ahead of the matches.
Jurgen Klopp said: “I really do not like to talk about it because always when I say something like: ‘it looks really good’, then I get a call, but it looks okay in the moment. No new injuries. Bobby (Firmino) is back in full training, Curtis yesterday in big parts of training. That leaves Harvey (Elliott) out obviously long-term and Divock (Origi) has a little issue, and Adrian obviously. So the rest should be fine.”
