Crystal Palace will be the first opponents of Ralf Rangnick’s tenure as Manchester United manager on Sunday. Eagles boss Patrick Vieira said it could only be a benefit to the Premier League to have a coach of Rangnick’s stature plying his trade in the division.
Patrick Viera said: “I know the name, I know what he accomplished when he was in Germany. I know he is someone who is well respected in football. I’m like everyone else, I will wait and see what he does in Manchester but it’s always good to have someone with that experience in the Premier League.”
The game on Sunday will be Palace’s third in eight days following back to back losses against Aston Villa at Selhurst Park and Leeds at Elland Road.
